Our work
There is no blueprint for the work we do, it is always led by our partners, local social care commissioning teams and feedback from our care providers in the area. The projects we work on are always people first, not opportunity or property first. We've had feedback that we're more like strategic partners than property developers.
We take pride in the collaborative approach we take in developing new supported living schemes as this ensures everything we do is sustainable and focused on care outcomes.
The majority of our work creates self-contained accommodation for people with a learning disability and/or autism however we also develop shared homes where this is aligned with local need and homes for people with other needs.
Our previous project experience includes:
- De-registration work in conjunction with local authorities and existing care providers to transition services to supported living
- Identifying and securing property in the right locations and within people's existing circles of support
- New build, extensive conversions and light conversions to create person focused homes
- Moving people from unsuitable or poor quality supported living environments to high quality ones
- Autism friendly adaptations to create environments that are catered to the specific sensory needs of individuals
- Our previous project feedback has shown that the environments we create have a positive impact on care outcomes
- Our smallest projects have created as few 3 apartments and our larger schemes are around 10-11 homes on one site. We have created projects with 10 apartments all on the ground floor to 3-storey blocks of apartments as well as wheelchair adapted bungalows from the South Coast to Hull, and from Cumbria to Newcastle where we are based.
